It was a frustrating finish for Bubba Wallace in Austin. Less than a dozen laps into Sunday's race, Wallace's day ended early after suffering significant damage following a collision with Kyle Larson.
After the race, Bubba was extremely upset. Slamming the hood of his No. 23 Toyota and later telling reporters that he's been making "rookie mistakes" over the past couple weeks.
"Just trying my hardest not to go down that slippery slope of self doubt right here. Two weeks in a row making rookie mistakes. Six years in the Cup... need to be replaced."
Wallace's reaction began to go viral on social media.
"Sad trombone..." a user replied.
"ANOTHER frustrating day for Bubs. Sure seems to be a lot of them!" another said.
"Here's what ended Bubba's day at Circuit of the Americas," tweeted NASCAR on FOX.
"Someone's upset..... I understand where he's coming from tho," a fan replied.
Tough one to swallow for the Talladega winner.
